The Hill Country Galleria shopping mall at Highway 71 and Bee Cave Road is set for a renovation and reorganization in 2016. In addition to the upgrades, Austin’s second H&M store will be opening at the popular Bee Cave mall.
As part of the reorganization, the Austin American-Statesman reports that Backwoods, Chisos Grill, and Café Blue will relocate within the Hill Country Galleria. This is in order to create more tenant-centric districts within the mall. These include “an apparel and fashion area near Dillard’s, an entertainment and fast-casual dining area with food carts by the Cinemark theater, and nontraditional retail uses such as medical offices by Whole Foods Market,” according to Community Impact.
Other changes include creating more shaded areas and adding more seating options, as well as adding more food choices for outdoor dining within the town square area.
