The former Cinemark Theatre off of Walsh Tarlton Lane near Capital of Texas Highway is finally set for redevelopment. According to the Austin American-Statesman, the 16-acre theatre site, which is across Walsh Tarlton from Barton Creek Square Mall, will be part of a larger development that will include an office building, apartments, and luxury townhomes.
The townhomes are expected to be priced starting in the $600’s and will break ground next month, with opening planned for fall of 2016.
The apartments will break ground shortly and are expected to be ready by late summer of 2017. The office building will break ground this summer, with construction expected to be completed in 2017.
