The Westlake Chamber of Commerce announces its annual Wonderfest holiday festival, to be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Westlake High School. The free event will include a visit from Santa on his firetruck, plus Santa’s Village, where kids can mail a letter to Santa. There also will be train rides, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and face painting.
Children’s choirs will perform, in addition to other live music. Plus, there will be holiday treats for sale and lots of games for kids.
For local businesses, vendor booths are still available for $100. A range of sponsorships also is available, from $500 to $1,300. Benefits include a booth, event advertising, placement on the official Wonderfest t-shirt, and more. Event sponsors already include Commerce National Bank and Synergy Dance Studio.
Several hundred Westlake families are expected to attend this year’s event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of gently used coats and blankets, which will benefit Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
