Eanes ISD and Its Nine Campuses Excel in State Accountability Ratings

Westlake High

All nine Eanes Independent School District campuses and the District as a whole achieved the Texas Education Agency’s highest accountability rating of “Met Standard.” The District earned a score of 96, with a target score of 60 and a statewide average of 75.

Seven campuses also received Distinction Designations for specific accountability measures. Distinctions were awarded to schools that ranked in the top quartile of their comparison group.

Campuses that earned all six distinctions include Barton Creek Elementary, which earned Achievement in Reading/ELA, Achievement in Math, Achievement in Science, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score); Hill Country Middle School, which earned Achievement in Reading/ELA, Achievement in Science, Achievement in Social Studies, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score); and Westlake High School, which earned Achievement in ELA, Academic Achievement in Math, Achievement in Science, Achievement in Social Studies, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness.

West Ridge Middle School earned four distinctions: Achievement in Reading/ELA, Achievement in Science, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score). Bridge Point Elementary earned three distinctions: Achievement in Reading/ELA, Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness (STAAR score). Cedar Creek Elementary earned two distinctions: Achievement in Reading/ELA and Closing Performance Gaps. Forest Trail Elementary also earned two distinctions: Achievement in Science and Closing Performance Gaps.

All of the campuses earned overall scores between 93 and 97.
