Join in the fun, and meet the first responders who serve the West Lake community!
The City of West Lake Hills Police Department will host the 2017 National Night Out on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Village at Westlake at 701 Capital of Texas Highway. Members of the entire West Lake Hills community are invited to attend this family friendly event, which is designed to encourage neighbors to get to know each other and their community at large.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the West Lake Hills Chief of Police, police officers, and fire fighters, and there will be presentations by the Austin Lake Patrol, Texas Search and Rescue, Austin EMS, and Westlake Fire Department. Attendees also will be able to view the police department’s STEALTH car and take a tour of an LCRA Mobile Command Center. This event also will include various city officials that residents can meet.
In addition to receiving a free goodie bag and a t-shirt, attendees will be able to sample refreshments and food provided by many area businesses. Some sponsors of the event include Lupe Tortilla, Nothing Bundt Cakes, HEB, Chick-fil-A, Rudy’s Country Store and Barbecue, Coca-Cola, and Texas Honey Ham Company. University Federal Credit Union also is a sponsor.
