The first cold front of the season has rolled in, and just in time to start planning for Westlake’s Wonderfest!
Wonderfest is an annual community Christmas event sponsored by the Westlake Hills Chamber of Commerce. This year’s Westlake Wonderfest will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Westlake High School.
Christmas-themed activities for the family friendly event include a visit by Santa in a fire truck, Santa’s Village, and Mail a Letter to Santa. The event also will host an interactive petting zoo, children’s train rides, and a bouncy house, as well as performances by children’s choirs, opportunities for face painting, a wide assortment of holiday treats and goodies, live music, and lots of games.
Wonderfest is free to the community, thanks to generous donations and sponsorships. Sponsorships still are available for the event, and they range from $100 to $1,300. Perks for sponsorship include a 10’ x 10’ Wonderfest booth; a listing on website marketing; a name listing on pre-event marketing, posters, and signs; name on signage at event; VIP recognition from the stage; and Westlake Hills Chamber of Commerce membership, depending on the sponsorship level. Sponsorships must be claimed by November 3, 2017 in order to be included in any pre-event marketing. Partners include Granduca Hotels, Northstar Bank, and Benchmark Bank.
The annual event also serves as donation spot. Bring gently used coats and blankets to the event for donation to Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
