The City of West Lake Hills and the Westlake Chamber of Commerce will host the town’s annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 8:30 a.m., starting at Independent Financial at the corner of Bee Cave Road and Westlake Drive.
The Westlake Fire Department will lead the parade from the parking lot at Westlake Drive down Westlake, Rocky River, and Reveille, with the parade concluding in the starting location. The celebration part of the event will be held in the parking lot until 11 a.m. The event is free to attend and includes live music, free food, and games such as corn hole and a cake walk, with costume contests for “Most Patriotic,” “Best Dressed Pet,” and “Best Thing on Wheels.” Food sponsors include Texas Honey Ham, Amy’s Ice Cream, Whataburger, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Trianon.
