Westlake Country Club Undergoing Multimillion-Dollar Makeover

The Westlake Country Club, formerly known as the Lost Creek Country Club, is undergoing an upgrade to its golf course as part of overall renovations that began in 2022, according to the Texas Real Estate Research Center. This phase of the project includes a redesign of the greens and bunkers, as well as a new irrigation system, an expanded driving range, and a new practice course. The 6,623-yard, par 72-golf course is expected to be ready for play in November 2023.

Previously the facility upgraded the tennis and racquet courts, while two tennis courts were changed to pickleball courts. Updating also was completed at the aquatics center, the poolside bar, and the restaurant. Next up will be a renovation of the clubhouse, including dining facilities, the private event space, the locker rooms, audio-visual equipment, family areas, parking lots, and surrounding landscape.

The Texas Real Estate Research Center reports membership costs for the country club will increase, with the initiation fee increasing to $100,000 on top of $1,000 monthly dues. All projects are expected to be completed by 2025.
